Deal With It
"Get It Done" is the best episode of The Post Show ever. Brian Levin, Alex Blagg and that other guy impersonate Jeff Foxworthy, Zak Galifianakis and Larry the Cable Guy.
Premise: The Blue Collar Comedians of Comedy tour.
Why is this the best episode? The satire is sharper this time around. We learn that Larry can be an intellectual, but decides to act stupid and, yes, Zak can be as gimmicky as Jeff Foxworthy. I love Zak, but I don't have any comics I worship. Worship is unhealthy.
Here's an anecdote: I interviewed this guy for an article for a newspaper. He helped get Andy Kaufman started. Know how Andy was in the beginning, before he became the godfather of alternative comedy? He did Elvis impersonations so women would give him blow jobs.
So don't idealize anybody, except the guys who made this fucking awesome Post Show episode.
